Doris Joan Fogle

JANUARY 11, 1938 – JULY 10, 2023

Doris Joan Fogle, 85, of Greencastle, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023.

Born January 11, 1938 in Greencastle, she was the daughter of Wesley and Amy (Buis) Custis.

Doris had worked at DePauw University, Clearwater’s Greenhouse and done residential house cleaning. She was a member of the Hanna Street Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob Fogle and son, Wesley Fogle.

Doris is survived by her children, Jacob “Billy” (wife, DeVonna) Fogle, Beth Ann Finley, and Jeremy Leonard and four grandchildren, Brandi Sherrill, Bryan Fogle, Chris Fogle, and Laura Baker.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at the Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Doris in lieu of flowers to St. Jude Hospital for Children.
