Carol Ann Redington

JUNE 5, 1959 – JULY 11, 2023

Carol Ann Redington (Annie Rooney) Went home to Heaven on July 11th, 2023 at 9:30 am. She was born June 5, 1959 in Terre Haute to Charles Allen and Nancy Allen.

She was a light that shined so bright in this world. She would welcome over anyone who had nowhere to go or family to celebrate with on Christmas and Thanksgiving. She never met a stranger and would give so but much of herself to others in need.

She was a loving mother to her children and grandchildren and wife to her husband and best friend of 45 years.

She worked at Columbia House for 25 years and made friends wherever she went. She went on to work for Rose-Hulman and loved her work family there. She was always good for a laugh until your stomach hurt or to jump out and scare the life out of you. She was a joy to everyone that had the pleasure of knowing her. She was strong in her faith and showed that in the way she treated others and how she lived her life.

She will be missed.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, William "Bill" Redington; her children, daughter April Dawn Pate (Clete), son William Ryan Redington (Courtney); grandsons Caiden, Blaine, Cain, Coby, Bryer; her mother, Nancy Allen; granddaughters Morgan, Chloe, Ava and Chloe P.; siblings Mike Allen (Tami), Kathy Fuson (Don), Lisa Harrison (Bob), William Allen (Julie), and several nieces and nephews.

The family will Celebrate Carol's Life on Sunday, July 16, 2023 from 5 PM until 7 PM at the Rod & Gun Club, 2525 East Lambert Ave, Rosedale.
