Kenneth Wesley Davis

Kenneth Wesley Davis, 72, of Greencastle passed away in the comfort of home on July 12, 2023.
Kenny was born in Greencastle on April 16, 1951, the son of Howard Wesley and Hazel Marie (Sadler) Davis.
Kenny is survived by his devoted wife, Deborah of 47 years; his two children, Lynn (Greg) Hedge, and Kevin (Heather) Davis; his sister, Carolyn (Frank) Langan; five grandchildren, Alexi, Lilly, Thomas, Hayley, and Kyle along with one great grandchild, Karsyn.
Kenny was proceeded in death by his parents.
Kenneth graduated from North Putnam High School as a member of the first graduating class of 1970. After graduation Kenny pursued a truck driving career then joined the Operators Union. In 1976, he started his own excavating company doing custom work. He worked hard for his family for many years. He was a member of Somerset Christian Church and a member of the Board of Directors for 27 years of Little Walnut Creek Conservancy District. Kenny enjoyed many adventures on his beloved motorcycles over the course of his life. From enduro-racing to cruising the US, he loved the view from behind the handlebars.
Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Holt officiating. His last ride to Brick Chapel Cemetery will follow the service. Viewing will be held at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home on Monday, July 17, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to time of service on Tuesday.
