Barbara Dean Toney, of Fillmore, 81, passed away July 19, 2023.

She was born in Greencastle on January 31, 1942, to Wilma (Woods) and Robert Cash.
Survivors include her husband Darrell Toney of Fillmore; children Paula (Glen) Birt of Greencastle, Lea Ann (David) Varvel of Fillmore, Brad (Susie) Toney of Avon; grandchildren Bailey (Sewak) Landay of Anchorage, Alaska, Dean (Ally) Varvel of Mooresville, Brittany (Logan) Pell of Fillmore, Bradanne Toney of Lexington, Kentucky, Mattie (Logan) Hatchel of Fillmore, Taylor Toney of Avon, Morgan Toney of Avon; great grandchildren Emmie Pell, Thanai Landay, Beau Pell; siblings Beverly Bannon, Ronnie Cash, Beth Glaze; sister-in-law Barbara Ann Toney; and several nieces and nephews.

Barbara worked at IBM after graduating from the Indiana Business School. She then drove the school bus 27 years for the South Putnam School system.

She was a member of New Providence Church.

She was an excellent seamstress and loved cards, puzzles, games, and her family. Visitation will be from 10 am until 12 pm on Tuesday, July 25 at the New Providence Church and services at 12 with Pastor Brice LeBlanc officiating.

Burial will follow in the New Providence Cemetery.
