Charlotte Kay Burnham

Charlotte Kay Burnham, 85, of Greencastle, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2023.

Born May 5, 1938 in Colfax, IN, the daughter of Golden and Margaret R. (Carpenter) Miller. She was a graduate of Fillmore High School “Class of 1956” and Ivy Tech. in 1970. She married DeWayne Burnham on March 5, 1957

Charlotte was an administrative secretary with the South Putnam School Corporation for 32 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and son, Joseph W. Burnham.

Charlotte is survived by her sons, Gary (Sally) Burnham and Michael (Terri) Burnham; a sister, Barbara Costin; brother, Rocky Miller; grandchildren, Heather (Jeremiah) Wagoner, Christopher Burnham, Sarah (Matt) Haltom, Erika Burttschell and Samantha Moeckel and 8 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Monday, August 7, 2023.

Burial will follow at the Putnamville Cemetery.
