John Coleman

January 23, 1942  -  August 6, 2023

God saw you getting tired

And a cure was not to be

So he put His arms around you

And whispered "Come to me."

With tearful eyes we watched you

As you slowly slipped away

And though we loved you dearly

We couldn't make you stay.

Your golden heart stopped beating

Your tired hands put to rest

God broke our hearts to prove to us

He only takes the best.

John B. Coleman, passed away August 6, 2023. John was born on January 23, 1942, the son of Bernie and Helen Coleman, and grandson of Stella and John Price of Brazil.

John served in the United States Marine Corps. John was married to Mary Myers Coleman for 63 years. They were Riley High School sweethearts.

John is preceded in death by his son, Bryan John Coleman.

John is survived by his wife Mary, his children, Shelly West (Rick) and Amy Jo Marshall (Derek) bonus son, Steve Harbaugh, and daughter in law, Jill Coleman, grandchildren, Alexis, Elizabeth, Alyssa, Ben, Laura, Tanner, Julie, bonus grandchildren, Matthew and Skye, great grandchildren, Abbey Jo, Jacob, Conner, Abigail, Maci, B.J., Corbin, Caelum, as well as several beloved nieces and nephews.

He will be cremated and ashes given to family for a later celebration of his life.

Eagle has landed.
