Beverly A. Fisher, 82, Clermont, Fla., and formerly of Cloverdale, died Aug. 20, 2023 at Apopka Health and Rehabilitation Center, Apopka, Fla.

Born Feb. 17, 1941, in Putnam County, she was the daughter of Jewell K. and Eugenia “Sue”(Goebel) Branneman.

A graduate of Cloverdale High School, she had been a member of Amity Baptist Church, Cloverdale, and South Lake Presbyterian Church, Clermont, Fla.

She retired from IBM after 30 years of service.

She had a passion for reading and in retirement was a volunteer at the Cooper Memorial Library in Clermont, and also the Helen Lehmann Memorial Library in Montverde, Fla.

She married Thomas H. Fisher on Nov. 4, 1967. He died on April 11, 1993.

Surviving are her nieces, Ginny (Mann) Darden and husband Eric of Clermont, Fla., and Anna (Mann) Terry and husband Lance of Greencastle.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Barbara L. Mann and brother-in-law Gordon J. Mann.

The family will have private graveside services at Cloverdale Cemetery.
