Belinda Jean Zeffel, 53, of Fillmore, passed away on Friday, Sept. 8, 2023, at her residence.

Belinda was born in Greencastle on May 31, 1970, the daughter of Vernon and Peggy (Carper) Zeffel.

She was a 1988 graduate of South Putnam High School.

Ms. Zeffel worked for 22 years with IAC.

She was a member of Well Spring Christian Church and assisted House of Hope for many years as a volunteer.

Belinda loved to watch NASCAR, and her favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt Jr. She also enjoyed watching drag racing.

Survivors include her two sons, Ian Zeffel, Killeen, Texas, and Christian Zeffel, Evansville; a grandson, Mario Griffin, Colorado Springs, Colo.; two brothers, Michael Zeffel, (Diane), Golden, Colo.; and Billy Zeffel, (Kathy), Bainbridge; a sister Pat Morley, (Rob), Arvada, Colo.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
