Barbara Joan (White) Bryan, 69, of Greencastle, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 10, 2023, surrounded by her family.

She was born Jan. 8, 1954, in Greencastle, the daughter of Donald H. and Rosalie (Allison) White.

She was a graduate of Greencastle High School in the class of 1972 and received her bachelor’s degree in business from Indiana University in 1976 and her CPA in 1980.

Barbara worked as a CPA and controller with the Putnam County Community Foundation for several years. She previously worked with several nonprofit foundations.

She was a member of AICPA, the Indiana CPA Society and the First Baptist Church, Greencastle.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Alan Bryan; sons Patrick Bryan and Paul (Chloe) Bryan; sisters Jeanne (Ray) Labarbera and Phyllis (Jim) Cook; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial services will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 23 at the First Baptist Church, 404 Judson Dr., Greencastle. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. on Saturday until time of services at the church.
