Wanda Lee Costin, 72, of Greencastle, passed away on Sept. 25, 2023, at her residence.

Wanda was born in Norton, Va., on Oct. 7, 1950, the daughter of Claude Wilson and Alice Virginia (Hall) Kegley, and was a graduate of Speedway High School.

Mrs. Costin was a member of New Providence Baptist Church, Moose Lodge 1592, Elks Lodge 1077 and Eagles 4388. She was house mother for Delta Tau Delta for over 26 years and truly enjoyed her job.

She enjoyed gardening, being outside and bird watching and was an avid DePauw University football fan.

Survivors include her two children, Raymond W. Hoover (Betty Andrews) and Jennifer Lee Watkins; a son-in-law, Rob Costin (Tricia); two grandchildren, Matthew Watkins and Andrew Watkins; a brother, Robert Preston Kegley (Sylvia); two sisters, Judy Willis (Jimmie) and Brenda Kay Schindler (Tom); a special aunt, Linda Simpson (Bill); and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of over 20 years, Jimmy Costin; five sisters, Mary, Barbara, Margaret, Joyce and Patricia; eight brothers, Eugene, Sanford, Carl, Charles, Paul, C.W., Howard and Richard; and a son-in-law, Dennis Walkins.

The family will plan a celebration of life at a later date.
