Linda Louise Spivey (nee Tuttle), of Cloverdale, passed away Thursday, Sept. 28, 2023, after a brief illness.

Linda was born on April 26, 1950, to Frances Tuttle Phillips in Deadwood, S.D.

On July 3, 1969, she married John Spivey Sr. and they had three children, Frances Spivey Lewis (David) of Cloverdale, John Spivey Jr. (Diana) and Amanda Spivey (Wayne).

She also had many nieces and nephews. She had nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Linda loved to spend her time crocheting and doing needlework crafts. She also loved to spend time outdoors, fishing and camping.

She worked at Lear Corporation for a number of years before retiring from there.

She is survived by her husband, John of Cloverdale, daughters Frances and Amanda and her brother, Larry Tuttle.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frances and Tom Phillips; her son, John Spivey Jr.; sister Sharon Piper; brother Jim Tuttle; and little sister Verna Tuttle.

Legacy Cremations is handling the arrangements.

A celebration of life will follow at a later date.
