Cloyd “Sonny” Arthur Simpson Fowler, 70, of Brazil, passed away on Oct. 1, 2023.

Sonny, as he was commonly known, was born on Dec. 6, 1952, in Greencastle, the son of William Arthur and Leona (Trisler) Fowler.

He graduated from Greencastle High School with the class of 1970. Sonny went on to work as a tool and die maker in Greencastle for many years.

Sonny was preceded in death by his parents William and Leona Fowler.

He is survived by his children, Amy Roof, Jarrod Fowler and Justin Fowler (Megan); grandchildren Kelsey Szabo, Megan Roof, David Roof, Kane Fowler, Gage Fowler, Logan Fowler, Jalen Fowler, Addison Fowler, Luke Connell and Zoey Connell; and siblings Doug Fowler (Sally), Cheryl Johnson (Allen), Alisha Fowler and Collista Fowler, as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Services will be at French Funeral Home, 421 E. National Ave., Brazil, on Monday, Oct. 9 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Burial will follow at Mount Moriah Cemetery in Parke County.
