Scott David St. John, 56, of Greencastle, passed away on Friday, Oct. 6, 2023, at his residence.

Scott was born in Greenup, Ill., on Aug. 6, 1967, the son of Kenneth Leroy and Virginia Kay (Henry) St. John, and was a graduate of Mt. Zion High School in Mt. Zion, Ill.

Mr. St. John proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1987 until 1995.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved them dearly. He enjoyed making people laugh.

Survivors include his mother; a brother, Michael St. John (Lisa); a sister, Heather Poynter (Ray Jr.); and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Per his wishes, no visitation or formal services will be held.
