Kari Leigh Vanatti, 34, of Greenwood, passed away on Friday, Oct. 6, 2023, at her residence.

Kari was born in Brazil on March 20, 1989, the daughter of Randall and Penny (Brown) Vanatti, and was a graduate of South Putnam High School.

Kari worked as a commercial service manager at AutoZone in Greenwood for five years. She was also a former manager for Pizza Hut.

She loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include her parents; her soulmate and love of her life, Ken Burdine; a brother, Aaron Vanatti (Nicole); two nephews, Easton and Alex Vanatti; her maternal grandparents, Jack and Darlene Brown; and several aunts, uncles and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Holly Bills, and her paternal grandparents, Aaron and Katherine Vanatti.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 12 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Champion officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of service on Thursday. The family would like to invite everyone to dinner after the burial.
