Cathy Clodfelter, 67, of Mooresville, formerly of Greencastle, passed away on Oct. 16, 2023, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Mooresville.

She was born in Greencastle on Feb. 3, 1956, to the late Marvin and Nellie (Dearing) Jones.

Cathy graduated from South Putnam High School in 1974.

She married Terry Clodfelter on July 29, 1995, and he survives.

Cathy worked in human resources at Lear Corporation in Greencastle for more than 15 years. She worked various other jobs before her retirement in 2018. Cathy was a lifetime member of Greencastle Moose Lodge 1592 in accordance with the Women’s Chapter 138.

Cathy loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She always enjoyed attending their school and sporting events. Cathy enjoyed cooking for family gatherings. They will especially miss her country-style homemade noodles.

In addition to her parents, Cathy was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Jones, and sisters Jane Sibbit, Betty Arnold and Sharon Hoese.

Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Terry Clodfelter; son Matthew (Abby) Butts; grandchildren Daulton, Cole and Lucas Butts; brother Eddie Jones; sisters Rosemary Woods and Debbie (Pete) Alamo; sister-in-law Sharon Jones; brothers-in-law Bill Sibbit and Danny Arnold; as well as several nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends.

Final arrangements and cremation are entrusted to Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville.

A celebration of Cathy’s life will be held at a later date.
