Marilyn J. Clahan 65, of Roachdale, passed away Friday evening, Oct. 13, 2023, at her residence.

She was born Aug. 1, 1958, in Culver to Russell J. and Edna M. (Rady) Osburn.

Marilyn was a 1976 graduate of North Putnam High School.

She worked for many years at the Sur La Table Distribution Center as a supervisor.

Marilyn was very creative in many ways. She enjoyed listening to country music bands. But more than anything she loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She had many pets throughout the years that had a special place in her heart, too.

Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Brandy J. Spears (Scott); and grandchildren Isaac W. Phillips, Alli M. Jugg, Haylli G. Jugg and Cooper W. Phillips. She is also survived by her siblings, Martha J. Smith (Larry), Marcella J. Lister, Marsha J. Osburn and Michael J. Osburn (Frances), along with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Candy M. Phillips.

A celebration-of-life gathering will be held on Friday, Oct. 20 from 3-7 p.m. at Off The Rails, located at 5 N. Railroad St., Roachdale.
