Albert “Al” C. Simpson, 88, of Reelsville, passed away Nov. 14, 2023.

He was born Sept. 9, 1935 in Indianapolis to the late John Simpson and Winnie (Barbee) Bell.

He married Maureen C. Simpson on Sept. 21, 1963, and she preceded him in death Aug. 10, 2014.

Al was a retired truck driver, a member of the Teamsters and a member of the Moose Lodge in Greencastle.

He is survived by his daughters, Cathy (George) Miller of Greencastle and Pamela (Mike) Bowman, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by daughters Cindy Lou Young and Wendy Sue Simpson and stepson Michael A. Simpson.

Funeral services for Al will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 20 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be from noon until the service time of 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
