Keith Alan Smith, 65, of Cloverdale, passed Sunday, February 4, 2024 at his residence. 

He was born November 6, 1958 in Greencastle, the son of Delmas Joe Smith and Rita Abrell Smith. 

His mother survives. 

Keith was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. 

Keith graduated from Cloverdale High School in 1977. He married Mona Denise (Pearson) of Cloverdale on December 4, 1982. To this union, one child was born: Jenna Marie (Smith) Nees, husband Ryan. 

Keith was the loving grandfather to Kensi Rae Nees. 

He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Mildred Elaine Person, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, sister, Darlene Gaye Parker, and father-in-law, David Pearson.  

Services will be held at Whitaker Funeral Home, 201 N. Lafayette Street, Cloverdale. 

Visitation will be Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 4:00-8:00 pm. 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024 at 11:00 am. 

Interment will be in the Cloverdale Cemetery.
