Linda Sue Frost, 75, of Danville, passed away on Wednesday, April 3rd, 2024.

Born August 7th, 1948 in Bloomington, IN the daughter of Burton Abrell and Elsie Faye (White) Gentry. She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School “Class of 1966”.

During high school Linda was a long time participant of 4-H as well as the president of Future Homemakers of America her senior year. Linda was a long time employee for Mallorys and then went on to retire from FB Distro in Greencastle.

Linda loved making cakes for special occasions such as weddings, graduations, and birthdays. She also loved working on ceramics, bowling, and playing bingo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, father in-law Norman Frost, mother in-law Thyra Frost; Brothers in-law Norman Scott Frost, Greg Frost, and James Frost; and Sister in-law Linda Frost

Linda is survived by her husband of 52 years John A. Frost; her two children Jennifer Collins (Mandy) and John R. Frost (Kayla); her sister Loretta Fowler; five grandchildren Travis Collins, Kellie Collins, Bailee Frost, Marlee Frost, Macee Frost; and her great-grandchild Matthew Washington.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 11th from 11:00am until time of service.
